Did not get to see these games but spoke to the coaches about them ---- opened up at Williams on Friday night, and by all accounts a much improved Williams team from last year - this was a pretty good game - the first period saw us fall behind 1-0 at 14:14 but we quickly tied it up at 17:42 freshman Tom Resor from Walker and - Williams came back even quicker at 18:31 to put us down 2-1 after one ------ a good second period, we tied the game up 15:53, Joe Milo from Tommy Derosa and Dylan Cooper - that was it for the period - in the third Williams scored at 7;08 for the go ahead goal and the eventual winner - a game we were in to the end - good goal tending from freshman Scott Barchard

The next day we traveled to Middlebury and it was not to be our day - the bus got lost, which is hard to fathom since it is pretty much straight up and a right turn but the team arrived late and it showed on the ice - we got trounced 5-0 in the first period and were never in contention - the final was 9-0 - they are very good as usual but we are a lot better than 9-0 would lead you to believe ------ starting off on the road with the second game at Middlebury is not the most favorable way to start the season, but those are the cards we are dealt
